You can look it up under Canada's recipients of the Victoria Cross if you like. I would also like to point out that if Tommy Prince has 40 or so medals on display they are not all military medals. I don't think any soldier from any country has received that many medals. The most medals I know of that a Canadian soldier received was 17 for service in WW11 and Korea. I could be wrong but I think Tommy Prince received 12 Military service medals two of which were for bravery in the field.

I have great pride as a Canadian. I've had family that served in WW1, WW2, and the Korean War. I've had arguements with Americans about the skill of the Canadian army. After seeing the American troops being shown up by the Devil's Brigade I feel twice as proud.

While he was a very brave soldier, Tommy Prince did not receive the "Victoria Cross" Britain's (Canada's) highest medal for bravery in the field. He received the "Military Medal" which was Britain's (Canada's) third highest medal for bravery in the field, issued to enlisted men and non commissioned officers. Canada no longer uses British medals for bravery they now have their own.He was however Canada's most decorated Aboriginal Soldier serving in both WW11 and the Korean conflict.

Canadian forces are highly regarded within the British forces.Canadians performed magnificiently in both World Wars, they always punch above their weight.Canadians are steadfast, robust, tenacious fighters. EG Vimy Ridge WW1-Canadian inf were subject to the first German gas atk, yet they held their ground & saw Fritz off. EG Normandy-Royal Regina Rifles fought the Hitler Jugend & Panzer Grenadiers to a standstill during a frantic German counter-attack. Great soldiers & a true ally to Britain. :)
