I agree with you that it must have been tough to do that at such a hard time when she could have just given up. When you said happy I thought you meant Ha! Ha! happy. I know what you mean now and you were right.

i was replying to someone who said its a depressing song ;) . just that it must have been tough to write happy songs during cancer so this is a perfect song to write =) yes, long live anastacia!
