You know, it's pretty difficult to compare Benny Hill and Monty Python because both have become so connected to culture today. It'd be like saying that someone's right foot is inherently better than their left foot.

Your opinion Madmott only. The tv station (a professional outfit there!) and I and some others disagree with you! Benny Hill had more jokes in his show than Python did! Besides, Python actors most likely don't buy you food, pay your rent or mortgage, buy you clothes or anything else really beneficial to you. No need to defend them like they were your personal friends! They won't defend you if you're put down or thrown in jail or anything else! Python is only for fun and Hill is rated higher!

Benny Hill was considered funnier than Monty Python by a UHF station (WLVI TV Channel 56 in Cambridge, Mass) that ran both! I agree!!!!
