Seven months later and it's still the best St. Etienne song ever. Great music-great vocals by Ms. Cracknell. Reminds me of the better part of the mid-nineties. Nothing compares.

hey turbo1964--"Silver Dagger" is a traditional American folk song in the public domain. Dolly Parton also does a version on one of her bluegrass albums. The melody is definitely lifted, but to excellent effect. It's all very fitting as Tiger Bay was their "folk" album.
