The Dolls were, and still are, a fantastic band - very influential. I saw them at the Whisky show that's shown in this video. That show was in August 1973. Fantastic show! If you notice, there are six Dolls in this video, that's because Arthur Kane's (Bass) left hand was in a cast and he couldn't play on that tour so they had a replacement. He was stopped by security when the Dolls arrived and almost didn't get in! I remember him saying a nasal accent 'But, I'm a Doll'!
