Look...I grew up listening to the likes of eazy e, nwa, dre, KRS, big daddy kane, tupac, etc.... And I have to say the current state of the "new" hiphop/rap trend is PATHETIC. I have been addicted to this song and video for the past year now. And I gotta say, i love the lyrics and love the beat. Soulja boy sold 1 mill records? Just shows how sad music now is.Rap and hip hop may be dead (since the mid 90's) but i take Aesop Rock over any of the shit you see on mtv/bet currently.

Have you ever heard of that saying "there are very few good people left on this Earth, the are hard to find"?Well there are very few real lyricists and Emcees on this Earth, and they arent given the shine they need.Album sales mean nothing, real music that feels good and that real Hip Hoppers love matters, its not money, its music, the reason we play CD's, music, not money.
