Enrique does not care what closed mined people think about him. He is a performer and knows he is good. He is not gay nor is he a homophobe. He loves performing and loves the people that love him - gay or straight. Check out his performance in the movie "Once Upon a Time in Mexico".

I won't buy his records or go to his concerts because of this video simply because i'm still not a fan of the kind of music he does. But for sure, after watching this beautiful scene, I respect him much more as an artis and human being.

It just means he's so gentle, kind and thankful to all sort of his fans that he doesn't care about whatever people would suppose about his own sexuality. That's the real positive significance of this video: A simple act of affection.
