This is outstanding...I live for the moments I get to hear performances at the MET...the orchestra is absolutely first rate...as anyone who has ever played in an orchestra knows, the bulk of the work is accomplished in the rehearsal...that is where the conductor earns his/her keep....the performance is just the icing on the cake.

Technically they're eighth notes but, since the faster part is "in 1", they sound like sixteenth notes.
