dude, at least you were alive at the time. I was born in the 90s, and that was an absolute hell when duchebag-wanna-be hippies rule the radiowaves.(example- whoa, amber is the color of your energy)

You're definitely right, unfortunately !until mid 70' there were festivals like that (ok Woodstock is one of kind of exception) where for a small money affordable to every youngster who wanted to see concerts... Saw Pink Floyd, Steve Miller Band, Linda Lewis + 2 others bands in Stevenage Park, close to London in 73, where Pind Floyd played its Dark Side of the Moon. n' on these years there still were plenty of festivals with great names around Europe, guess it was the same in USA Peace and Love

the bad thing is. there will never be another festival such as this becaus of the greed of the people that own the land, the artist that would want to play, there are no more artist like these anymore that would do it just for the love and peace and to bring together a group of people for three days of peace and love again. I would have loved to have been there myself. I was almost 2 when this historic event happened.

I envy anyone who was there at woodstock. No festival could ever match upto tht, not with the mostly rubbish music of today.
