well i think it depends how u conduct the tackle. sometimes players do a high tackle which hurts u in various ways. or they just lift u up and do a spearhead with your head hitting the ground first.

justingigglio is kind of right. Neither tackle hurts that bad. If you think it does, you're pretty much a pussy. I've played both rugby and american football. Both are about the same, though I'd have to admit I got hurt more getting my neck twisted off in collapsing scrums and getting sprigged in the rucks.

justingigglio u say rugby tackles don't hurt at all? i have tackled quite a few big boys and i can't say they didn't hurt at all one tackle in which i separated my collar bone...i wonder if they don't hurt you because you "wait for the player to come to you, then grab there legs and bring them to the ground" |
