I cannot agree more with you, we everyone´s efford we can all build a better world and live with other´s differences.Spot on thechinadesk.

Dear tena2, I'm merely suggesting that we confine our attacks to others' ARGUMENTS, and not attack the others' PERSON. I'm not saying we should gloss over differences. I'm not saying we should pretend to agree when we don't. I'm not known for mincing words. I'm merely suggesting that we attack only the other person's POSITION, not the other PERSON AS A PERSON. Again, merely a suggestion. I have no more authority than any one else. Merely my two cents worth.

Can we ease up on the ad hominem attacks? hi can you be a bit more precise please?

I would like to express my appreciation to everyone who has shared insights about the technical aspects of opera technique. Many individuals are clearly quite knowledgeable about opera history and voice technique. But may I make a modest suggestion? Can we ease up on the ad hominem attacks? Aren't opera enthusiasts supposed to be more civilized and cultured than the average yahoo? Doesn't such uncivil public behavior reflect badly on us?
