I read on Making Memories Site that it was going to sell for $150 with design cards to sell for $40. Still saying Summer of 08 but I read somewhere else the release date was July 20? Let's hope it's soon. I'm saving my pennies.......

This is a good thing for crop night. But I don't think it could replace my cricut because the die cut size is so much smaller than the cricut sizes.

With the marker insert instead of the cutter, you can emboss the drawn shape as you would a stamped image. This replaces rubber/acrylic stamps because you design your own image on your computer and the machine will draw it for you. No wonder it isn't out. Making memories will lose to much money on their other products. No more cartridges to buy, no more dies or die cuts in little packages.... I hope they Makin Memories doesn't shut down this project for profit reasons.

I like the fact that it is so small and portable. Add that to the computer image download cartridge and it makes it even better. In fact, this is a FANTASTIC IDEA!!! I hope they manufacture a variety of colors to match individual personalities.

These are not for sale yet and no price announced. I heard a release sometime in March 2008. They were to have been out last fall and were all the talk last spring. We shall see. Call your local scrap store and see. |
