...and yes, I realise my grammar is incorrect in sentence 4.
b3nn15 (August 11, 2008 at 4:30 pm)
Gerry - yes I have. I have weighed the evidence (I find none in your favour), and reached a valid conclusion. I have not taken into account what people tell me, but have deduced an answer from an objective point of view.I have no need of Christianity (like over 85% of the world's population), and like my genes have no use for an afterlife. Why should I assume there is one??1 more thing - please define "soul".

An opinion..that shows the lack of thought, a closed mind...Have you really counted the cost,Of dying, and find that you are wrong in your thinking. If the christian dies, and finds that he is wrong, he has lost nothing. If you died in your sleep, where would your soul go...ARE YOU SURE???????????

People actually believe this tripe. I find this extremely insulting.

except eternity is not a timely concept, so when you try to explain it using time, you screw up.. because changes must occur in eternity..

Joshephus was a political writer and he had interest in John the Baptist because he was politically active against the Romans ,unlike Jesus who did not refuse to pay tax to Rome. For Joshephus Jesus and his cult was not area of interest in his own struggle against Rome. There is mention of Jesus in works outside of the New Testament. Get this book (the case for Christ) .It has full section about it

Typo...I meant " each one of US are responsible".
Maltese280zx (July 7, 2008 at 1:02 am)
13L4CkH47...30 other "prophets"? Only One Who was crucified, and rose from the dead. God does not want to send us to hell...see John 3:16-18. Here you will see that God made an unspeakable sacrifice so that we did not have to go to hell, each one of are, responsible for where we go,by accepting or rejecting His Son,Jesus Christ. |
