Absolutely agree with you. It'd be difficult to imagine how the great story could be better told on film. Wonderful. And it's not the acting that makes it (perfect though it almost all is); it's the authentic script that wins it - at least for me.Obviously, those two things are in harmony (actors and adaptation - which is rare), which means that Fraser Heston created, I reckon, the greatest retelling of a classic since Lean's "Great Expectations". And that WAS a classic.So this is too :)

by far the bast film adaptation of Treasure Island.it should have been released in theathers, it could have been an even bigger success!Until now, I'd only seen the French dubbed version, which is magnificantly dubbed.
