Magic Mireille...great voice,excellent vocal tehnic,beautiful voice,fabulous repertoire,she really wrote a gold page in music and remains the best voice of France through her vocal disponibility to sing in all 4 musical registers with an easy tenorisimo in voice.Rare!

If Mireille Mathieu represents the france, we're fucked. I'm french, and in france, everybody thinks she is ridiculous, it's impossible to be more has been than she is. Edith Piaf is France, Mireille Mathieu is a caricature.

Your quite correct,what a voice,and yes she is the personification of France wonderful anthem the best of them all,I like our own,God Save The Queen,but it does not come close to this,no anthem does,pehaps only that of the Soviet Union,which what ever your political views is a fine song.

Mireille is the ultimate personification of France. She's so utterly beautiful and her voice is so amazing that there truly can never be another like her. she's amazing!
