Mmmm could hardly call Australian troops giving Japan their first defeat on land at Kokoda support, nor the clearing of Timor, Sumatra and Borneo by Australians. And esspecially not to mention the lack of support Britain showed fighting the Japs back from India through Burma. - Just a note I am being quite sarcastic.

*Sigh* back to this.The Russians fought 75% of the German army for 5 years. The Brits fought 100% of the German forces for 2 years and then the other 25% for the next 5 years.The Americans shared that 25% with the British after D-Day until the end of the war - so that's 9 months.The Americans did actually have a lot of support. Japanese forces were deployed into three armies, one fought the Chinese, one fought the Brits in India and one fought the Americans, Australians, NZ in the Pacific.

The US fought just as much as anyone else and you also have to remember that the US was fighting the Japanese with very little support from anybody.

im so glad nz won the first tri nations match they rule. i was there and it was awesome to watch. that game proved we are the best. better than the world champs any way

Also, while Russia would have won without the Western Allies, they wouldn't have won without Russia. Imagine D-Day except most of the German army isn't away in Russia, it would have been a complete massacre the moment they stepped onto the beach.I think we can all agree that Britain did almost everything early on, but then not much afterwards.The US did a lot of supplies and support but hardly any significant fighting.And Russia did almost all the fighting and was the one who beat Germany.
